I am only 17 weeks and have had 7 ultrasounds at this point including a level 3 one. I started bleeding at 15 weeks and thought I was losing the baby. after being on bedrest, then off it for 2 whole days the bleeding came back so I'm back on bedrest. It is a warm fuzzy feeling to actually see baby each time on the u/s but the years of my life I am losing from the worry and anxiety, well, it's not quite worth the joy of the u/s. Be glad you have no reason to need one sooner! at this point I'd trade all the printouts and u.s pix for a week without bleeding, worrying and the pain of the probing (yeah the vaginal ones hurt afterwards when you are cramping and swollen inside) PLUS we still don't know gender because our troublesome lil spud keeps crossing his.her legs and turning the wrong way. Doc even trie to find out on saturday with no luck. we got a great shot of the foot, every lil toe and every foot bone, but no willie or lack thereof.
