a dear friend just hooked me up this week to a fabulous program called

freecycle where you join in your local area and free stuff aroun d

your home can be offered to anyone to pick up, or others post what

they have to give away. in the Chicago area freecycle groups just in

the last week 3 cribs, 2 strollers and 4 changing tables were offered

and received by folks. I definitely plan to ask for some items and in

the meantime I am giving away some other things to make room in what

will be our nursery. to find your area just go to

http://www.freecycle.org/

these are really nice giving folk, and it is a way to keep perfectly

good items out of the landfills. I definitely see offers of clothes

and dressers too.

hope this info helps.
