Guest guest
Hi and Congratulations. I just had my baby boy 3 weeks tomorrow and had no problem having him vaginal. As a matter of fact, he came faster than any of my others and i did not even get time for my epidural so had him natural. I actually had him 4 hours after my due date too, my daughter was a week late and I was induced ealry with my twins sons, I feel like I had a healthier pregnancy this time also, I dod not have gestational diabetes this time like I did the others, I did not have any swelling from fluid retention and had it terribly with the others. I felt pretty good except for all the back ache stuff, which is normal. My son ended up weighing in a 8 #7 and was 20 1/2 inches, good size baby. I ate like a piggy while pregnant and gained 50 pounds but I feel like my stomach is back to normal, I can not eat as much now that the baby is here and I cannot eat sugars once again, which is good in my opinion. I know I have lost alot of the weight I gained but not sure how much yet. Good Luck to you, I think you will be just fine. Guest guest
Hello everyone!!! I am a 30 year old, married mother of one. I am 16 weeks pregnant, My edd is 2/5/2005. Post-op proximal RNY 2/12/03 (17 months post op, made it to goal from 305). I am so excited!! This is my second pregnancy. I was diagnosed with PCOS back in like '98, I had an operation to remove a cyst from my left ovary that same year and for some reason I ovulated right after that and we got pregnant. My son is now four. For some reason I did not ovulate after that one time until after I had the RNY surgery. Now here I am almost five years later and suddenly pregnant again, much to my surprise!! I have been eating like a pig since I found out I was pregnant. Anyone else? I have only gained 3 pounds, but I don't understand how I am physically able to eat so much now. Even meats, which I crave. I just crave protein, which is a good thing because the shakes make me nauseous now. Question: I am interested in hearing from anyone who has had VBAC after RNY - I am scared of my excess skin in that area pulling while pregnant, not to mention the 3 previous abdominal surgeries I have had. I do still want to give it a try. Any positive experiences with VBAC after gastric bypass?
