Guest guest
Hi there, I am 13 weeks pregnant. Edd of 2/23. Post-op as of 4/02. My second child. My son is now 4. My questions/comments: Regarding the below post from another new member, can you possibly personally email me regarding the ovarian cyst? I was just told today that I have a cyst/nodule in my left ovary and am anxiously awaiting news from the doctors on what they do from here, especially because I am pregnant. Anything you could pass along would be appreciated. My husband and I made the choice to NOT circumcise our son. We based this on medical research, necessity and discussions with several doctors. We did have concern about infections (we had heard stories) but have not had ANY trouble at all. It was a very tough decision because my husband is circumcised and you think well they should be the same. But every professional we spoke with said the same thing " it is a personal choice...not a medical one " and in the end we choose to not have him go through the procedure. We are pleased with the decision thus far and only hope as he gets older he will be too! I had (have?)PCOS and Gestational diabetes with my first son and full on diabetes before surgery, so I am hoping the pregnancy will be healthier because I am at a " normal " weight now. Labs have been iffy. Low on iron, anemic, low on b12. I am feeling like I am constantly being my own advocate and educating the doctors on my body, absorption etc. I hope these things get worked out and I get some energy back. That would be nice. Nice to be a part of this group. A lot of good information I see! Thanks, Nystrom post-op 4/8/02 (150lbs) edd 2/23/05 mother of Josh (4) p.s.
