Guest guest
Hey ladies! I am due to ovulate at the beginning of next week. I was planning to go to the Sybaris (a romantic hotel with swimming pool and hot tub) with Hubby for a neat way to conceive our next child. After thinking a bit more about it, would you think that if we do the baby dance, then want to go swimming or in the hot tub, will it wash all the soldiers out?? Does anyone have any experience with that? Thanks in advance for your reply =) Jeanette in IL Lap RNY 5/9/03 264/144/135?? Guest guest
I wouldn't get in the water IMMEDIATELY after having sex. Just wait a few hours (4-6 or so). Most likely it wouldn't affect it at all even if you went right away, but who knows what goes on down there from the vagina, to cervix to uterus etc.... I went to an amusement park 3 hours after being inseminated and was thrown around, banged, bruised and thumped, and I got pregnant. I suppose instead of knocking them out, it may have knocked them up higher? lol
Guest guest
jeannette i read in a book that when ttc you should avoid jaccuzis and pools imnot sure why but maybe its to avoid infections which can interfer with conception..good luck to u > Hey ladies! > > I am due to ovulate at the beginning of next week. I deliberately didn't shower the night we did the baby dance tho just in case, but we also made our baby was conceived in happy lustful loving embraces and not kind of methodical. we did the clomid route 12 years ago and it got to the point that making the baby was just not fun anymore so this time around we made sure the fun and love were as much a part of things as the thoughts of having a baby. So if sybaris works for you, give it a try, I mean if it doesn't happen you'll still have the joy of that night! best thoughts for you! what worked for us was using the clearplan ovulation monitor. it worked like a charm on the second month of using it. I'm now 17 or 18 weeks along. ciao! Colleen open RNY 5-9-03 361/219/160 EDD 1-23-
