Guest guest
Hi , Congrats on the great appt and u/s...There is nothing so reassuring as seeing the little one move around doing cartwheels, etc... I am preggo with my first too...I know that there are very few surprises left and alot of people chose not to find out the sex, and to each his own. For us, we found out...and let me tell you, the surprise was there at the ultrasound appt, just not in the delivery room... Wishing you continued good health and lots of kicks from Peanut... Hugs, EDC Nov 10 Jr is actually a JR ETTE!!! > Hi everyone! > I just wanted to post that I had my 21 week ob appointment and ultrasound yesterday afternoon! We got a couple GREAT pics of peanut (and a couple that look like ink blot tests, LOL!) > We did not find out the babies sex, we want to wait and be surprised, although when I was on the table it was driving me nuts that I *could* find out if I wanted to! But, we figure you don't get many surprises in life, let alone the miracle of a baby being born, so we are going to do it the old fashioned way! > Baby is growing right on schedule and was swimming around in there like crazy. > I do have to have another ultrasound next appointment because the tech couldn't get a good picture of the heart (to see all the chambers) or of the umbilical cord attachment to see if it had 2 or 3 of something (no idea what!) Every she went to capture those things on picture, peanut moved away too fast! > Doctor also said I have an anterior placenta, so that's why I am not feeling any movement yet, that I won't feel movement for another few weeks because the baby has to kick hard enough for me to feel it through the placenta. > > Moral of the story, peanut is doing great, and I am just tickled and ecstatic and had to share!! > When hubby scans the ultrasound pics I will post them! > > C. > WLS 8/28/02 > EDD 12/31/04 > >
