Guest guest
I went to feed him right before 5 and he was HOT again and I took his temp and it was 100.8, I called his doc just in case and they wanted to see him at the ER since he was so young. He told me when I finally saw him there they always check them that small for bacteria infections. They drew the poor little mans blood and had to catherize him for a urine but he had just pee's in his diaper so we had to have a bag taped to him to catch the next time and we waited another 2 hours, I had Madison with me, how fun for me I just got home at 9 pm but thankfully the blood came back normal and I did not have to wait for the urine, they said they would call if anything was wrong. The doc said they usually do a spinal too but since Emerson looked good he was not going to unles the blood came back looking iffy. So thank God he did not ahve to do that. Little man is still sleeping in his car seat and so far the fever is down again. he must have the same thing the boys had this week. Guest guest
Isn't it scary when they get sick that young? When my son was a baby and got sick it would scare me to death. I definately sympathize with you. Glad to hear your little fellows temp is back down and the bloodwork checked out ok! Hope that he feels better soon.
