Emersons fever is GONE :) Thank God :)

Thank you all for all your well wishes and prayers for Emerson. He is fever

free today, his last fever was 10 pm last night and so far none since so I

think it is gone now. I am sssoo happy about that because I was dreading that

spinal tap. I felt all the color drain from my face when they drew his blood

friday at the hospital and catherized him, it was terrible. I have never been to

fond of this hospital here so that is why it scares me so much. I am used to a

more advanced hospital like Vermont has where I had all my others and where we

still go for specailist tyoe things. My boys have had several eye and ear

surgeries over there and I have always trusted them. I refused to have their

surgeries here. This hospital has come along way since I moved here in 1988 but

I

still worry. Thank You all for being here for me and Emerson.

Hi Robin,

So glad to hear the little guy is better! Fevers are so scary in

newborns, aren't they? Of course, I am so glad that you seem to have

a very astute Dr who was willing to do whatever it took to get to

the bottom of why...I am just glad that he didn't have to do the

whole gamut of tests..

more invasive tests. I'm with ya, the mommy worrying has begun for

me, & my guy hasn't popped out yet.
