I am eating all day long and am dropping weight still and constantly hungry and eating during the night after I give Jonas his feedings during the night. I am drinking lots of water and crystal light and am constantly thirsty. I am wondering if this is happening to anyone else? I am not shopping for new clothes until my weight loss plateaus. My clothes are hanging on me! It's nice...but surprising! I thought I was done with my weight loss since I am over 2 years out of WLS. Thanks for any info you all can give me.....and yes I am faithfully (for once) taking my vitamins every day. Chrystal Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! Happy Mommy to - 4 Years Old! Guest guest
Chrystal, Sounds like your normal to me. The way I eat I swear I'm still pregnant and I'm not exclusively breastfeeding Hannah! Also, I'm dropping weight again, almost down to my lowest weight! Axelrod Breastfeeding after WLS Does anyone know if there is a breastfeeding after WLS support group on yahoo? Guest guest
When I was breastfeeding my first son I was STARVING all the time. I kept cheese and crackers by my bed and would eat them even in the middle of the night. I was also very thirsty. I think it is just our bodies letting us know what we need. The fluid and the food help us to produce milk. Also, you burn a ton of calories breastfeeding. I actually didn't produce enough to feed him and had to switch him to formula. They thought it might be stress related because I was in a horrible relationship most of my pregnancy. I am hoping to be able to breastfeed this time now that I am married to a wonderful supportive man.
