this is totally normal kylee. the baby is growing and putting pressure on your

bladder. the more the baby grows, the worse it will get and also, watch out for

those kicks, as they get stronger, the having to pee all the time will get worse

nad you may have an accident or two...

Gotta go all the time!!

Hello everyone!

Just a quick question for you all...is it normal to have to go the

the bathroom ALL THE TIME?!? It has gotten so bad at times with me

that I can go and then a few minutes later it will feel like I have a

full bladder again. I will go but it is just a dribble. I am 17 weeks

with my first baby, so I guess my question is, is this a normal thing

with pregnancy or should I call my doc and have it checked out. If

anyone has any suggestions about what to do please let me know, I

greatly appreciate them. Thanks!

As of today I am 18 weeks exactly, and boy do I know what you mean!!!

Due to some bleeding I had at 15 weeks I've been on bedrest and have

had a total of 7 ultrasounds so far. at the last one Doc asked if I'd

felt the baby yet, and I said only on my bladder. she laughed and

showed me something. on the ultrasound where I could see baby kicking

and stomping non-stop she pointed to a dark area underneath the baby's

feet. The dark area WAS my bladder being visibly compressed by my

future kickboxer. THAT'S why even after we felt like we'd been

holding ti for 2 weeks, we run to the washroom, get a thimble full,

and for me the second I stand up and I feel full again because

standing up puts the baby right back on mommy's bladder again.

lucky us!

hahhaaa!

now if you have stinging or pain when you tinkle THAT i would mention

to doc. yeast or bladder infections can be serious during pregnancy.

They do say that it is normal to have to go a lot as long as there is no

burning when you go or that your pee does not have a bad smell. Some tricks

that my book gave me where lean forward when going, it helps to completely

empty

the bladder and when you think you are done, stand up, wait 5 seconds and

then sit back down again and you will usually do a little more and that will

hopefully prolong until you have to go again.

Good Luck
