Guest guest
this is totally normal kylee. the baby is growing and putting pressure on your bladder. the more the baby grows, the worse it will get and also, watch out for those kicks, as they get stronger, the having to pee all the time will get worse nad you may have an accident or two... aka mom2ben99 (jennilee75@...) Hello everyone! Just a quick question for you all...is it normal to have to go the the bathroom ALL THE TIME?!? It has gotten so bad at times with me that I can go and then a few minutes later it will feel like I have a full bladder again. I will go but it is just a dribble. I am 17 weeks with my first baby, so I guess my question is, is this a normal thing with pregnancy or should I call my doc and have it checked out. If anyone has any suggestions about what to do please let me know, I greatly appreciate them. Guest guest
Unfortunatly it is very normal. I am 15 weeks with my second and practically live in the bathroom and god forbid I sneeze, or cough. I did find that the serenity pantyliners work well for those times of need. Guest guest
I went alot but you sound like you are going more than I did. Call your doc and have them check for any urinary track infection and see if that is it. Guest guest
Although it can be normal it is also a sign of a urinary tract infection. call your doc. and let them know and see what they say. - Diane > > Hello everyone! > > Just a quick question for you all...is it normal to have to go the > > the bathroom ALL THE TIME?!? Guest guest
e, It can be normal to have to go pee all the time--but yes DO talk to your doctor about it. I had the same thing, assumed it was the baby and it turned out I had a bladder infection. The constant peeing was my only symptom--and of course waking up a million times in the night. I had no painful urination or burning. Doesn't hurt to check it out. Left untreated, it could affect your kidneys (of course I am talking about a long time untreated). Good luck.
