,

I am almost 15 weeks pregnant with second child and have only gained 2

pounds so far. The first three months was the usual....yucky feeling, nothing

sounded good, but never threw up. I feel great now. I take may prenatal pill

every morning with milk. I have been told by my weight loss surgeon that atleast

2-16 oz of milk per day will be very healthy for me and the baby, so I have a

glass of milk in the evening for a dessert. Let me know if there is any

question or concern that I can answer for you. GOOD LUCK!

Welcome . I was also plagued by the thought of having a

" atypical " pg after surgery. I'm a LOT better now, the US have shown

that my little guy is growing like a champ, about a week older than

gestational age.

Continue to be pro active, team up with your health care providers...

There's a couple of links on the home page re post-op pg.

what you can, the abby will definilty get all it needs...drink lots of water and

take your vitamins before you get pregnant. jsut because you had a csection,

does not mean you have to have another, it's up to teh dr, i'd say tryt o find a

dr that is open to vbacs. i was lucky, my dr will allow me to try for a

vbac...you can call even now without being pregnant and ask the drs on your

insurance list about thier philosiphies on vbacs are. good luck!
