Not transverse - Whoo Hoo!

Well, had my 30 week appt today...and thankfully, if my little

monkey was transverse, she isn't now. She is just as she should be -

butt up and head down. Its so hard to tell because I am not very

big...

Felt really dumb being an RN and not knowing what position, etc she

was in....but hey, haven't done ob in yrs and I am a first time

Mommy to be...

I think the reasons I thought she was transverse were twofold:

- she seemed to be wider than " tall " in my uterus

- I was hearing the heartbeat on my doppler across my belly and

assumed that I was hearing either end of her back...in reality, what

I was hearing was the hearttones both in the cord and baby's back...

Everything else went okay - now measuring 29, which is good because

at 27 weeks I only measured 25. Weight up (yippee...NOT! lol) and BP

in the 140's/80's.

Very very tired as I have been on a stretch of nights and had to get

up after only about 3 hrs sleep to go to the appt...then came home

and packed the camper fridge for our trip tommorrow afternoon...AND

I have to work another night shift tonight....

So, I am going for a nap...
