Guest guest
Hi all, I am new to the group. I had Roux-ny Jan 6th 2004. I have lost about 90 lbs. I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant. I think about 4 to 5 weeks. I will have an ultrasound this Thurs., or Fri. I have two year old twins.(boy/girl) The doc told me that she wasnt going to do an ultrasound because my Hcg levels were probably not high enough being that I should only be about 4 weeks. I call her back after having blood drawn yesterday and they were 5,500. She says that I may just be a little further along than we though, or it might be two, but we will have to see. I am concerned that I will not be able to nourish that baby/babies. My husband is upset, because we didnt plan this but we were also not careful enough. If anyone has any advice, or a similar story please share it with me. Kerri 259/

Guest guest
Kerri- Welcome! I had my gastric bypass in feb of this year, and very unexpectedly got pregnant in may. I am now 16 weeks and my OB said to just try and get 300 extra calories aday, because the baby will just take what it needs. Everything will be fine. Good luck.
