Guest guest
The results of my ultrasound were in, and he said everything looks perfect. I had a pap smear, and he checked for dialation, he said everything looked fine. I also had to have some bloodwork *yuck*, and I have lost 3 pounds in two weeks, but he;s not worried. He said if I haven't gained anything by my next appointment on the 22nd, then he'll worry. Baby DJ is still breech, and he said that its his personal policy to recommend c-sections for breech babies...but not to give up hope, that he could turn right up until the last minute. I asked him why he didn't prefer to let breech babies try to be delivered vaginally, he said because there was too much danger of the baby delivering, except for the head, and the the head gets stuck, and you have to have an emergency section anyways...so everyone cross your fingers for me that this little booger turns in the next few weeks beofre he gets too big to turn Its my last night of classes, so I'm going to go take a nap and then do some studying for my last test, I hope you all have a wonderful night! Guest guest
Pam, I'm sure he will turn. Like I said in an earlier post Hannah didn't turn till my OB gave her a time limit of a week before he did version. I guess she heard him because she turned a few days later, LOL!! She waited till the absolute last week that they give babies before they try to turn them. 30 weeks is still quite a ways away from your due date so you have plenty of time so please don't stress over it. There are websites online that give you some small exercises that you can do to try to encourage the baby to turn. When I did them I really enjoyed them as they actually took pressure off my spine, where Hannah took up permanent residence while I was pregnant with her. Check them out when you get a chance, I think I found them by doing a search for transverse or version (I think thats how you spell it). Axelrod My 30 week appointment...
