Hi Sharyn. Congrats on getting your iron levels up.

May I ask if the blood clot is wls or pg related?

from the lovenox to the heprin injections. I'm excited about that

because I know it's getting close. I was told they could induce me as

early as Sept 19th. I cant believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by.

happy about this. For that last 2 sets of labs it keeps increasing. I

was actually prepared for the iron infusions. Now I'm really trying to

get the calcium up also. It's hard because the heprin steals it from

me, trying to time it not close to my iron and then of course not

being able to absorb very well is like a triple whammy. So if your

severely anemic dont give up and take those supplements they really do

work.

Sharyn,

I would wait to do anything permanent. You don't sound like you are ready for

that. I had a 5 year IUD and it was great. I used to like to mess with my

pills in order to get rid of A/F when I needed too but after a few months with

the IUD A/F would only last 2-3 days and was very light. I chose the 5 year IUD

because it had no copper in it and I was planning to try to conceive within 5

years. I also liked the IUD because it has the hormone localized and you are

good to go as soon as they remove it. I had mine removed on August 19th and we

are currently TTC. I have a 10 year old and we are ready to try for number two.

I know that I only want two kids so I will probably have my tubes tied after

this pregnancy but I am ready for that. You should wait until you are ready.

Also with the IUD as soon as they take it out they can start monitoring you for

your high risk issues. I think the IUD is a good thing. My Aunt had one in the

70s and had a lot of problems but these are

different and I am sure they learned from their mistakes. My OB/GYN loves

them.

My 2 cents,

Hi again, Sharyn, sorry for the delayed response. Don't have an

answer regarding b/c, for years I've been 'au natural'. Back in the

day, I strongly disliked the pill's side effects. So it's not an

option for me either.
