its the job of each ovary to release an egg. It's not as easy as one

egg releasing one month and the other ovary releasing the next month

though. If you are only feeling the left side, perhaps you may only

be ovulating from that one side for some reason? ASk your OB-GYN what

their opinion is. I could always feel my rt side ovulate, but the

left side is what was blocked a bit- so although I ovulated prob from

that side, I didnt feel it, nor did it make it down to meet a sperm

:(

From what I was told you are correct. When I had my first u/s with Hannah they

could even tell which ovary I had ovulated from. The tech told me that it

switches each month.

Ovary question

Ok here may be another silly question from the TTC person.... Which Ovary

releases the egg? Every month about 2 weeks before A/F is going to visit I

would get a pinchy feeling in my left ovary. I had a cyst on my left ovary when

I was pregnant 10 years ago with my son. It is sort of the same pain. A few

days ago I felt a pulling near my right ovary. I had a pulling feeling when I

was pregnant with him also on my right side. Of Course I would love to be

pregnant already but I am doubting it because we have only been trying since the

19th of August but miracles happen I guess. I am just wondering if the ovaries

take turns releasing eggs.

Thanks,
