Hi ya'll....

I am sooo excited...I went shopping for maternity clothes on Labor

Day weekend......Sat. to be exact....and I went to the mall to

Motherhood Maternity. I was not expecting to find anything that would

fit or that I would be able to afford.....WOW was I ever shocked. Not

only did the tops fit (which is a miracle for me since I wear a size

40-G bra these days)......but the prices were awesome. They had a

huge sale and I bought about 6 tops.....I got them 2 for $25. So, I

paid just $12.50 per top......and it's hard to even find them that

price at Wal-Mart! I was impressed. The tops are very flattering and

I can even wear them after the baby is born. They are sort of form

fitting and accent my bust area.....v-neck.....stretchy fabric.....I

bought one in every color! I also found some knit stretchy pants,

with a tapered leg, at Kohl's. I got those on Sale too........got

them for $9.00 each. I was stunned! So.....I am happy that I can buy

regular maternity clothes for this pregnancy. Back in 1991, when I

was pregnant with our son who will turn 13 this Dec.......I weighed

320 lbs when I delivered him and had to have my maternity clothes

made during that time......I was so embarrassed. Wow what a

difference it makes when you can wear a size 14 or XL instead of a 3X

or a size 26. I am happy! So far I am holding steady at a 6 lb. gain

and I am 4 months pregnant. I am eating constantly and exercising

NONE. So.....I am happy and grateful! My RNY was nearly 4 years ago.

Hugs to all~

That's awesome. $12.50 is just right. I've bought just a handful of

items. My local WalMart only has 2 little racks, Target has an o.k.

selection. My favorite dept store DOESN'T carry m clothes, I

finally asked why & the saleslady replied that they were losing $

b/c of all the returns.

There's a couple of only m clothes stores in the mall but I've

stayed away b/c I hear they're expensive. Pg has made me extra

frugal, maybe since I'm planning an extended maternity leave & the

(slight) fear of scarcity is setting in.
