Hello and fellow DSer. Well I read that story and you have been

through alot but overcame. I am glad you are happy where you are at.

You have triumph it looks like with your weight loss and then being

blessed with this child that you THOUGHT you would never be able to

have. So you are just around the corner from having this baby. I am

happy for you. I had the DS surgery with Dr. Keshishian in Delano, CA

last year August 13, 2003. I started out at 303 lbs, and have lost

100 pounds. I am currently pregnant with our (my husband and i) first

child. I am 11 weeks and have lost weight rather than gain but i am

not complaining. So far labs are fine except for a problem, that I am

sure is associated with the surgery. My VITAMIND D is off..and my

PARATHYROID is totally off (but the Parathyroid was a problem pre-

surgery). So i have to see an Endocrinolgist who is working with my

OB but nothing serious. Matter of fact the Endo pulled labs and

everything is okay (of course besides me having to take more

Supplements for Vit D).He said though, after baby is born we will

have to really attack this problem. So how are you feeling overall.
