Though the majority of post partum hemmorhages happen within the first few days (the first 24hrs specifically), it is a risk up to 4-6 weeks postpartum...Sounds like you had excellent care! Make sure you follow up with your family Dr with regards to hemoglobin, etc, especially since some post WLS women have problems with anemia, etc... Glad all is well with your little guy too!
