My daughter's lithium level is extremely low. Our doctor has ordered the lithium

orotate at 5 mg capsule two times weekly. I am suspicious that this may not be

enough. I am going to question him at our follow up appt., in the meantime, I

wanted to see if any of you are using this with your kids and what your

experience with dosing etc....has been.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. The low lithium level was discovered from lab blood draw

results.

Have any of you seen any behavior improvements after adding the lithium?

get a hair test before and after at 3 mths, to see if there is a response, ie,

that the child is releasing the excess, whereas before there was no lithium

being released.

Hi

All I can say that when we were on it that term it was good, but may have been

other things!!

We are back on again now, after a supply hiccup, so we will see if there are

changes again.
