Guest guest
Hi there, I have been TERRIFIED of this! To the point that I am going to ask my doctor if upon admission to the hospital I can get an enema. My mother thinks I am insane, but I don't think I will be able to relax, or feel comfortable enough to push, etc. For those of you who didn't have a DS or live with someone that did, you just don't understand. Let me paint a picture for you... I was at IKEA last week shopping, and it just so happened that it was one of those rare occasions (which have only happened since I have been pregnant by the way) when I just couldn't NOT go if you know what I mean. It wasn't a lot, but our BM's are or can be most often very loose, light and sometimes foamy or oily. They also are the most repulsive things I have ever smelled, and I lived with a RNY'er and frankly, thats nothin! It was so bad that when I was pulling my pants up, a small kid in the stall next to me had just come in and was whinning about the smell and his mom was like, I know honey, it is very stinky I am sorry, the kid actually started SOBBING and gagging! His mom had to take him out of the bathroom and he wet his pants. I have never been so humiliated, and I don't even think anyone knew that the stinky culpret was me... BUT that gives you an idea of how easy it is for us to clear a room. The gas is bad too, but I can deal with that. But I don't want to be pushing and have that come gushing out at the doctors face, because it is not normal poop. Its pretty much liquid. And I agree, I am terrified. If they wont do an enema in the hopsital when I get there, I may buy a home kit and do it here before I leave. Anyone else having similar worries?
