Any experience with IV Secretin?

We are getting ready to try IV Secretin with our 4 year old daughter. I am

curious to hear anyone's experience with it.

IV secretin cleared up my sons gut issues permanently. We would also hear clear expressive language after the IV but the language gains would fade after several days. We did the IV's over 10 yrs ago when my son was just 3 yrs old. We tried several more secretin IV's when my son was around 11 yrs old but did not see any changes. Do you mind if I ask what your son's gut issues were that cleared up?  My son is definitely a " gut kid " and we constantly struggle to no avail.  If Secretin may help, maybe we should consider it.  What is the mechanism?  I don't know anything about secretin at all...
