Guest guest
Hello all, I just joined OSSG because of the wonderful things I have heard. Well my friends I need your help. I am almost 6 months pregnant and find myself eating everything and never getting full. UGH! Please write back. Can you suggest any good books or can anyone give me some good advice Thank you! Guest guest
Dawn, It seems to be the general consensus of this group of 1,700+ women that they most all become ravenous, eating everything in sight and for the majority of them, eating habits return to normal within a few weeks after surgery. It has something to do with the " relaxin " that allows your uterine and pelvic muscles to stretch to accomodate the growing uterus/baby/belly and in turn the stomach itself " relaxes " also allowing us to eat more, empty more quickly, then want more. It DOES get back to normal though have faith. Just as the weight you gain will most likely fall back off within 2 weeks after delivery (dependent of course on how much you gain total) It's been posted over and over and over again. (you can skim through the past 20+ thousand messages to see for yourself, or take my word for it (as a moderator who has approved a TON of those same messages).
