Hi Tammy – did you submit your child’s ATEC score to the moderators of the MMS facebook group? They are being quantitative (as possible) about MMS results as a therapy for autism and required everyone on the site to submit an ATEC score by June 15th – otherwise you were dropped from the group. Here’s the new membership info….· YOUR OWN PERSONAL ATEC MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE WE WILL ACCEPT ANY MEMBERSHIP REQUESTS FROM YOU!!!!!!!! Once your own ATEC has been received, you may request memberships for your own friends. Thank you! I'll be happy to do an ATEC, but I wasnt really looking into it for my PDD guy - whose score at this point has got to be pretty low.

I was more curious about using it as an option for a twice yearly parasite cleanse. And also for occasions such as camping (when we're swimming in ponds and lakes and getting eaten alive by mosquitos....nasty stuff like that). And very curious about it's abilities to "neutralize" metals. But I def understand why they're being so cautious.

Just found out I'm not in the group anymore either. I don't think an ATEC would tell me much with my son. We have PANS and multiple infections. We are about to start MMS. How do I get back on the group?Ruth

I just looked at one. There are a few things I could track improvement on for the health/physical behavior section but really none of the other issues on the ATEC would relate to him. He is 11 and all the intervention we've done already has brought him so far. I'm really looking at MMS because we have multiple infections, including lyme and I'm looking to help his immune system rid those and gain strength. There might be another checklist we could use to gauge our progress, but the ATEC isn't really going to be that helpful.Why are they making this a requirement for the group? I know they want to have some gauge of how MMS is helping, but it certainly isn't a scientific process and I'm sure there are many that have kids with issues that could benefit, but do not have autism. Did they explain their reasoning when they made the rule?Ruth
