Guest guest
Hey ya'll..... Whoa.....what a weekend I had.......I was in so much pain on Sat. that I was late to my class.......My head was throbbing and Extra Strength Tylenol did NOTHING for the pain. I had a headache all day and all night......then on Sunday I was fine. Then this morning (MOn).....headache was back! Whoa! I was late for work. I had to lay down and take Tylenol to try to get some relief. These headaches are impacting my daily life in a terrible way. I called my OB's office and talked with the nurse. She said that between week 15-17, hormone levels go thru the roof and that causes major headaches for many pregnant women........Whoa. She said that in about 2 more weeks, they should stop.......anyone been told this before? I have heard about the 4 month pregnancy headaches.......anyone else having troubles with this? YIKES! They hurt like heck with NO RELIEF! Terri in Texas with a throbbing head..... 15 wks 4 days pregnant
Guest guest
I'm pretty sure headaches are normal. I got them a bit over a month ago (now am about 25 weeks preggo) and my doc said the same thing, it's hormones. I also looked it up in all my baby books and they said headaches are very common anytime the hormone levels surge, but most common at 15-24 weeks. Hang in there with them! They have pretty much passed for me now except for the occasional one- which is stress related for me. One thing that helped me is using those silly looking masks you put in the fridge-made of gel- that feel REALLY good when you put them on cold. Of course, if your dh/bf is like my dh, he will run around the house making fun of you saying ... " I'm Batman.....quick Robin, to the batcave. " LOL. C.
