Guest guest
Has anyone had any problems with claritin (i am getting it compounded)? My kids didnt seem to do well on compounded benadryl -- they become more hyper so I am wondering if claritin could do the same thing. My daughter also had a rash appear on her arm the same day she took the benadryl although i am not sure it is from this because it was around the same spot where she bites herself and i am wondering if it could be fungal related (ie she is transferring yeast from her mouth to her arm)....they are both more irritable and hyper at the moment (my son severely and my daughter more mildly). Anyway, i do not want to try claritin if it could throw their immune systems off even more. Also, michael payne had recommended taking benadryl before starting valtrex to help with the autoimmune/sensitive reaction. Has anyone done this before? I am wondering if claritin would work the same way (trying to find out from his office too).Any thoughts would be much appreciated! Thanks, megan

We've enjoyed all of the gains (goodbye allergies) with no side effects. Didn't do well on claritin... > > Has anyone had any problems with claritin (i am getting it compounded)?
