Guest guest
As your listowner, I wanted to extend a heartfelt thanks to the moderators of this group, Sheila & . I have been unable to participate as much as I would've liked to lately... I spent a good part of August in Haiti teaching music, then when I returned to Des Moines, I was hired at the last minute to teach high school special ed and I've been scrambling to get everything together (since I haven't been in the work force for the past ten years). THEN my mother's health got significantly worse (she is 56 and contracted a very rare disease that attacked and killed her heart, basically) and they thought she wouldn't live, but she squeaked through and then they located a donor heart for her and she had a heart transplant. I spent most of the end of August and beginning of September in the hospital in Dallas with her. Needless to say, my life's been one constant uproar! Anyway, I just wanted to tell everyone what hard work they're doing, since your list-mom isn't holding up her share of the load lately. Bless you all so much! -- Kris
