Meredith- My dogs were my babies before I had my twins. We were so worried

because they were so spoiled.. they even slept in out bed.. So we put the baby

stuff out long before the babies came home.. and then when the babies were

born DH brought home their hats to get the dogs used to their scents... We

kept the dogs in our everyday lives as long as we could but then both boys got

asthma and the dogs had to stay down stairs.. That broke my heart... now that

the boys asthma is more under control, we let the dogs upstairs more often..

When we get our new home, I plan on allowing the dogs in the kitchen area all

day long... I just dont want the dog hair all over the carpet with my boys

always rolling around and soon to be crawling there...

I love my dogs though.. I miss them so much.
