Guest guest
Hello All I have a question for all you ladies. Yesterday I went for my six week check up, all was fine. When my doctor asked me what type of birth control I wanted, I told her none. She asked if I was sure, I told her yes. My husband and I would like to have another one right away. (I know call me nuts.) It took us 3 years before we conceived our daughter and I'm not exactly a spring chicken. I was told a co-worker that I should wait at least 6 months before trying for another because my body needs to recover. When I was pregnant with my daugther, I gained a total of eight pounds. I had no morning sickness. The only issue I had was fatigue the 1st trimester which everyone experinces. I did not even show, my co- workers did not know that I was pregnat, until it was annouced after my daughter arrived. So is there anyone out there that got preganat again right away. I welcome all comments/opinions. Is there a " wait " time period. Lana
Guest guest
i dunno how long you are suppose to wait, i do know they advise you to wait so your body can recover, however, i'm not going on birth control after this one and hoping to get pregannt again pretty quickly. so you're not nuts. i want 4 kids, and since we tried 5 years to get this one (second child), i don't want another 5 year seperation period, i'll be 29 1/2 when this one is born. lol. aka mom2ben99 (jennilee75@...) Guest guest
My sister who has a little one suggests that you wait for your hormones to level off - 6 months to a year - before conceiving again.
