Guest guest
I live in Ky and work in WV.... (that speaks for itself, so no further explanation is needed after I tell you the following).....lol I have had several families request some of the " afterbirth " or placenta and also the first blanket we use to dry the blood off of the baby as soon as the Dr hands it to us to take home to the family pets to get used to the *scent* of the baby. What never made any scents (pun intended) me was, when the baby actually GETS home, he/she doens't smell or look bloody! lol Just when you think you've seen it all........ ========================================== > > I think your dogs will be very curious when the > > bassinet moves in, but they will probably be > > protective of the baby. Guest guest
lol, I work in Huntington @ Cabell. We have the 2nd highest delivery rate in WV (following Chas-Womens and Childrens I think), and one of only 2 Level 3 NICU's. Yep, we have LOTS of " holler folk " here.....lol My husband is from Ripley. I think we went to Beckley once (either on the Scenic Railroad trip or through there on our honeymoon to Hawk's Nest? Are you close to anything of that sort? Nice to meet you! Sheila
