I live in Ky and work in WV.... (that speaks for itself, so no further

explanation is needed after I tell you the following).....lol

I have had several families request some of the " afterbirth " or

placenta and also the first blanket we use to dry the blood off of the

baby as soon as the Dr hands it to us to take home to the family pets

to get used to the *scent* of the baby.

What never made any scents (pun intended) me was, when the baby

actually GETS home, he/she doens't smell or look bloody! lol

Just when you think you've seen it all........
