Hi ds finished a round (10days) of antibitoics a week ago. We have tried gse, biotin, and adding an extra probiotic also. we have battled yeast for a year, he always gets a yeast rash and it gets bad. After the antibiotic his dermatologist is suggesting a round of nystatin. My question is will the yeast be more controlled if i give hime this round of nystatin and then continue with our natural meds?Any experience with nystatin (short round) and then using probiotics and biotin or gse to maintain control?ThanksSharonSent from my iPad No virus found in this message.Checked by AVG - www.avg.comVersion: 2012.0.1913 / Virus Database: 2437/5117 - Release Date: 07/07/

Guest guest
Nystatin did not do much for us, was on it for months with no change in yeast rash (my son had them behind his knees and within his elbows). Once I switched to naturals (candigest, pro-bio gold probiotics and trienza chewable digestive enzymes), the rash disappeared. It has been over a year and a half now and no yeast rash, only time it came back briefly was when I altered his diet and stopped the candigest. When I did the naturals, the rash dried up and peeled off. I was amazed, I had been trying to fight the rash for 3 plus years before I switched to naturals. Rash used to get so bad and inflamed, I had to use steroid creams. But now smooth skin. Guest guest
Nystatin isn't enough for a lot of people. Nystatin is non systemic so it really doesn't matter how long a round you use with it. It only kills what it comes in contact with. A lot of kids have yeast in more than their gut. It does help some. But only if the yeast is in the gut and not anywhere else.Nystatin never did anything for my son. Naturals never did anything for my son either. ~ Antiviral Therapy 101~~ Make a biomed book ~~ gryffinstail.wordpress.com ~~ @Gryffins_Tail ~ Hi ds finished a round (10days) of antibitoics a week ago.
