Guest guest
In our case I believe the DTaP did the most damage in regards to vaccines. We deal with a major allergy load as well and have used sublingual drops with Dr. Caprio, not sure how much they helped but in general his allergies are better this year than in previous years. > > Hi, We have a pretty agnostic view with regard to vaccines. Our son did not get the MMR or Hep B and still has autism. Now, he is 6.5 and has developed allergies to trees, dust mites, grass, pollen, etc. We are wondering if those folks who feel vaccines can in fact cause or be a trigger for autism are equally against allergy injections or sublingual drops, which seem similar to vaccines, in that they " provoke " the immune system? > > Thanks for any thoughts on this issue. >

Guest guest
I think allergy shots provoke a immune response but it is given in small doses and exposure is increased over time. vaccines they give a ton at the same time with no thought to current health status or size. I feel it is better to treat allergies because it causes "autistic" symptoms to be worse.Subject: Allergy shots/sublingual dropsTo: mb12valtrex Date: Tuesday, July 10, 2012, 12:06 PM Hi, We have a pretty agnostic view with regard to vaccines. Guest guest
Yes, they provoke the immune system. Yes, IMO, they will burden an already taxed immune system.BUT.Personally, I wouldn't do the shots but I also don't have a child allergic to everything outside. Soooooo, if allergy medication isn't helping, I'd probably consider it. ~ Antiviral Therapy 101~~ Make a biomed book ~~ gryffinstail.wordpress.com ~~ @Gryffins_Tail ~ Hi, We have a pretty agnostic view with regard to vaccines. Guest guest
Thanks for your excellent post on vaccines. Thanks, Hmmmmmm......I think if allergies were an issue in my house, there are other avenues I would exhaust before turning to shots. I dont believe the immune system was ever meant to be "provoked". All it requires is nourishment (quality whole foods, clean water, soil and air, sunshine and chemical, stress -free living). I believe that most, if not ALL allergies are the result of a break in the immune system caused by a nutritional imbalance or deficiency. In relatively typical circumstances, shots would be last on my list . But I dont think I'd exclude them as an option. You might be interested in LePore's Ultimate Healing System. Which teaches healing through foods. Not expensive drugs, therapies, surgeries or injections. I'm going to try comment here w/o sounding combative or argumentative. It's not my intention and I hope i dont come across that way. I am not a terribly eloquent speaker or writer so please forgive me if I come across as snippy: I've heard from plenty of parents who have unvacc'd kids with autism. That doesnt mean vaccs dont cause autism. It just means it didnt cause autism in their child's case. Also, please remember that the the dtap (among others) is also ill -reputed with our children so that is also a consideration when trying to "untangle the knot". If mother was vacc'd at any point before or during her pregnancy or while breastfeeding, that could have a direct impact on baby. Many vaccs mutate dna that is passed from generation to generation. So if certain familial traits have susceptability to gene expression through heavy metal toxicity or certain pathogens, then technically, even YOUR parents vacc could effect their grandchildren down the line. Especially certain genetic traits that make it difficult for the body to shed toxins.Kwim? I would aslo like to point out that many MANY ingredients found in vaccines arent just dangerous to us when injected. In excess, Mercury is bad. Lead is bad. Aluminum, cadmium, flouride, bad. These are ever present at alarming levels in our air, soil and water. They dont need to be injected to have a bad effect on us, provoke an immune response and cause chronic inflammation. Herbicides and insecticides are HORRIBLE. Take, for instance, strawberry field workers. They are exposed to so many chemicals that the rate of adhd among their children is beyong alarming. Still, the gov't allows the spraying to continue. I could keep you here all week.....but at the end of the day, it comes down to the fact that our immune systems were meant to be nourished not provoked. So I would would work on the body as a whole, rather than zero in on the one particular symptoms of allergies. Everybody's situation (and allergic reactions) are different so it's hard to just throw a blanket answer out there. Anyway, that's my two cents. Hope your little guy feels better soon!
