Guest guest
hello. i posted a few days ago, about being able to have a vaginal birth because of hernia issues and surguries... anyways, i wanted to thank those who had advice and personal notes for me. i am almost 7 weeks pregnant, and i feel like i am hungry all the time, and find myself " grazing " all day with food... is this normal for post-op's? i never really felt hungry before- not like this. i am 16 months post-op open rouen-y. (30 pounds from goal) my gastric dr. said for me to gain 8-10 pounds tops for my whole pregnancy... i already gained 1! i am scared... i have no morning sickness (i didn't with my 1st either) and i never get sick on eating foods i know i shouldn't (sugar) i don't dump... and i am hungry all the time!!! UGHHH also do we as post-op patients get more tests done and ultra sounds than the " normal " women get? just curious. with my first child i only had 3 ultra sounds the whole time. and occasional blood work i think once, in the begining and once right before delivery? i was only 23 then, and now am 30... i dunno if that will make a difference either. i don't see my OB until next month- i think he sees me at 12 weeks. thanks again for any advice. i really love this board, it helps me a lot, since i am different, and the rules don't always apply to me the same as your average pregnant woman. )
