6 week post partum check up ????'s

Is the 6 week post partum check up really important? I'm supposed to go

tomorrow and I don't want to go. I am tired of doctors and being poked and not

everything is completely healed down in my girl parts so I don't want to be

looked at or anything else.

I'm not going on birth control and I don't think I ever want to have sex

again.....so is this really an important appointment?
