Guest guest
Hello all, It's been a while since I last posted here, maybe since i first found out I was pregnant. My little Aiden Is now almost 6 weeks old. The greatest love of my life!! I am breastfeeding but i feel like I am not producing enough milk. I started to pump and am not getting more than 3-5oz and that is only if i am almost engorged. I would like to know if anyone has a list of foods which I can stick too strictly to help produce breastmilk. I dont drink milk because it makes me sick. I try to supplement that with other dairy foods like ice cream or yogurt, pudding etc. I eat very little as it is due to surgery so any help would be greatly appreciated!! THANKS... Guest guest
Jess - They say to drink LOTS of water... My dr never even told me to drink milk.. he just tole me to pump in as much water as possible. Now, I have had the WLS yet so this may be a little different for you.. but even with me, I never got more than 4 ozs for my twins. Everyone always says you will produce enough for your baby but I never did. They also say to pump every 2 hours and that should increase your milk.. Something like, the more your pump, the more it comes in. Best of luck! At 3 weeks I switched them to all formula. ~Ginny, Proud Mommy of Wally and y Born 10-19-
