Guest guest
Bekka, In my first trimester I lost 25lbs and felt like you did. Once I was in the second trimester I started to feel better. Axelrod new to group.. loosing too much!!! Hi all.. my name is Bekka and I am 13 weeks pregnant. I had gastric bypass surgery 16 months ago and lost a total of 160 pounds prior to getting pregnant. I was not completely to my goal weight, but I have now lost an additional 20 pounds in the last 13 weeks and I just feel horrible all the time. It is not as much that I am throwing everything up... but that I just can not eat much without nausea. I am concerned because I feel like I did right after surgery when I was getting about 300 calories a day... drained, exhausted and feeling malnurished. They have referred my to a high risk specialist due to the surgery, and a past history of blood clots and cysts. He doesn't seem to be too concerned about all the weight loss... yet, but he hasn't been successful at alliviating my concerns. Has this much weight loss happened to anyone else?? I guess I need reassurance that everything is still ok. Bekka Children are a blessing, and a gift from the Lord. -Psalm 127:
Guest guest
Hi Bekka My posts will tell you the same about me - I lost a lot of weight and didn't start re-gaining until I was well into my second trimester. My OB got to the point where he told me he didn't care WHAT I ate....just to eat anything I could keep down. I'm now 31 wks and am just now up to 14 pounds in the good! in Detroit
