Guest guest
My son has been on valtrex for 3 weeks. We did 1 250 mg cap daily for the first 2 weeks and this last week we upped it to 2 250 mg caps daily. He has a decreased appetite and is showing signs of anxiety. He wont let me out of his sight! He is weepy and is having troubles goin to sleep. He did so well on the one cap. Should I go back to one cap? Or should we try to push through this? I am wondering if this is yeast related? Should I add the diflucan in? I have been doing a little diflucan every 3 days or so. Any advice would be great! Guest guest
, My 4 1/2 year old son has been on Valtrex since last september. He takes one-half teaspoon three times daily. But he has also been on diflucan (1 teaspoon daily at night) since day one of Valtrex. I also asked our compounding pharmacy not to use the regular blue pill they initially used. We were concerned about any color additive having any effect.
