Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I'm pretty new here and have only posted once. I found out last Saturday that I was pg and saw my OB yesterday. He did a pelvic exam and said I feel like I'm about 8 weeks, which makes me pg before surgery. He said that he thinks I conceived the day before surgery. This is kinda scarey to me. Is it safe to go through all that on such a little being? He also said that I am going to be treated as a fairly normal pg because having the surgery doesn't make me high risk. What I don't understand is that I am 8 weeks pg and 6 weeks out of surgery. (Well, that's the guess I'm having a dating scan on the 29th to determine for sure). Isn't it a higher risk when you are fresh off the table? I love my OB and trust him, I know that he's had gastric bypass OB patients before because he works in the same complex as some surgical associates who perform the procedure and he knew a lot about what I had done, but I just thought that he would be more concerned. Anyway, what do y'all think? Should I just be normal? Angelina Landon 11/07/03 Open RNY 08/06/04 2nd baby edd 04/28/
