Guest guest Posted September 16, 2004 Report Share Posted September 16, 2004 Hey All...First off you ladies have been a TREMENDOUS source of info for me...you're all GREATLY appreciated!!! My Name is Deanna K I'm 34 and from Hutchinson, KS (hey !!)I had my open RNY 2yrs ago(9/18/02) and have lost 211 lbs. I'm 6'1 " and started at 444. I'm a Water and Land Exercise Instructor and a Personal Trainer at the YMCA. So needless to say I'm kinda active!!! My Hubby (Jeff) and I have been married for 10yrs. We of course tried to have kiddos but due to PCOS and the weight it just wasn't happening. I'm currently 28weeks preggers with our first(edd 12/04 and just found out it's a GIRL!!!!! GO TEAM PINK!!!! I've been incredibly lucky so far..no morning sickness...I had a little fatigue in the beginning of course and am fighting some slight anemia now but all in all doing GREAT!!! I'm just now starting to show...I never thought everybody would get soooo excited about seeing me get fat again;)LOL. I've only gained 13lbs and Surgeon and OB are thrilled. We had a 3-D sono this weekend and the tech said she weighs in about 2lbs 13oz and is 14 inches CROWN TO RUMP!!!! I'm still in shock on that one...She's got big chubby cheeks and a double chin already...TOOO CUTE!!! I can't wait to see her for real. Thank you all for all your knowledge and experiences...they really have been comforting..especially the whole eating gets back to normal after the baby get here...I've been eating like CRAZY and my sugar cravings and tolerance has really gone through the roof!!! You can tell in the tone of your email that you are really overjoyed. It seems as if you have come a long way so all of this is very deserving. And I think it is great that you have such an active lifestyle.
