Cuthbertson Parent Professional Collaboration Award

This award is presented to an individual who most exemplifies the

partnership and collaboration in the areas of education, health, community,

human services, or family support that are important to improving the lives

of children and youth.

Nominees should be individuals who:

have shown a deep commitment to working in partnership with

parents/caregivers to secure appropriate quality education or health

services for children in New Jersey, especially those children at greatest

risk due to poverty, disability, discrimination, or other special needs, and

have demonstrated an understanding of the importance of collaboration and

persistence in efforts to foster such collaboration, not only in their own

relationships but even in larger arenas.

Potential nominees include:

Parents/caregivers

General or special educators

Services providers

Administrators

Human service/health care providers

State or local government agency personnel

State or local elected officials, policymakers, etc.

Community members/leaders

Parent-Professional Collaboration Award 2008

The Statewide Parent Advocacy Network is seeking nominations for our 9th

annual Cuthbertson Parent-Professional Collaboration Award. We

appreciate your help in choosing individuals who deserve this award, named

for SPAN's founder and a shining example of the value of parent-professional

partnership and collaboration.

This award is presented to an individual who most exemplifies the

partnership and collaboration in the areas of education, health, community,

human services, or family support that are important to improving the lives

of children and youth.

Nominees should be individuals who:

s have shown a deep commitment to working in partnership with

parents/caregivers to secure appropriate quality education or health

services for children in New Jersey, especially those children at greatest
