Guest guest
I'm having a horrible attack and I've felt it coming on all day. I doubled up on my Oxycodone w/ APAP 5/325 TA. I don't understand all this mumbojumbo.....I can't tell by all these numbers and abbreviations how strong this really is. My GI doc has pretty much left me out in the cold...he never even returned Dr.Cotton's or my calls. My local doc (the one who prescribed the Oxy.) is very helpful, but she can only do so much. I can't go to the ER here because the last time I went they didn't even run labs...just gave me a shot of pain medicine and told me to go home. I don't know what to do. The doubling up hasn't helped at all. I also have some Tramadol 50 mg tabs, but haven't taken any of them today. Does anyone know if it works better than the Oxy? MUSC is a week away, and I'm not sure I'm going to make it that long. Kim
Guest guest
Kim, I am sorry that you are having a horrible attack. For your question about tramadol 50 - I take the equivalent of tramadol + aspirin (Ultracet) for my regular pain. Tramadol is definitly weaker then the other drugs that you are taking. The good thing about it is that it is not a naocotic. But if you do want to tryo the tramadol I suggest that you take it with tylenol because it is much more effective that way. I hope you feel better, a Goldstein
