Guest guest
I'm still hurting, just not as bad as I was. Thanks for all the advice. As far as going to the ER, the docs in the ER here are so ignorant, they no longer even runs labs or x-rays. They are all about elevated levels, and think there is no need to do anything otherwise. I end up paying $600 for one shot of pain medicine that lasts for around 4 hours..then I'm back in the same shape. I am totally alone here, except for my regular doctor, and she is no gastroenterologist. I just wish that I lived closer to ton (7 hours) so I could count on getting the help I need from the DDC there. I'm going to ask Dr.Cotton if the ER here could contact them whenever I have to go to the ER, so he can explain my problem and " coach " them in what needs to be done for me. Y'all think that's a good idea? Kim S.
