Guest guest
Have any of you had a choledochoduodenostomy, or Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy? I have no idea, really, what this is. I'm reading up on what the options are when bile begins to back up again following a sphincterotomy to correct this problem. I found that repeat shpincterotomies are sometimes possible, but it not, this is the typical way papillary stenosis is corrected. (MUSC DDC website) Dr.C is going to do an ERCP Wednesday to see what is causing the problems again and to fix what he can. I see that if a second cutting isn't an option, the above mentioned procedure is. Anyone have any experience with this procedure? Thanks once again!! :0)--Kim S./North Carolina
