Some of my fondest memories was listening to and singing with

blugrass muscians. I had a chance to purchase a butterfly lap

dulcimer many years ago and did not. Been regretting that forever.

I was a trained singer from my early childhood. Did work with the

local opera house until I was a teen, then became involved with

musicals. Had dreams of going to broadway. Well of course that

didn't pan out. My father would not send me to this arts college in

NC because that year, 1979 they did " hair " with the nude scene and

my daddy was furious and felt it was not an appropriate place for

his little southern belle. Anyway I sang backup for lots of

different groups throughout the year, Soprano. I really miss that a

lot.

I have seen you post several times about your music and recognized

immediately the therapuetic effects of creating something that

lightens our soul and brightens others. What a beautiful gift that

is to have received and share. Maybe one day I will sing again, but

you know how it is with any instrument if you dont practice and keep

it tuned it can go flat.

Happy belated birthday as well. I hope for 40 more happy years.

Warmly
