Guest guest
I guess I am overcompensating from a bad experience I had in a grad school class. Basically the " professor " (and I am using that term with no respect in his case) told me that I did not deserve to be in his class or in any other grad level course because I couldn't " talk the talk " and tended to " simplify concepts " . He made my life miserable and I remember running out of the class in one of the last days in tears because he just wouldn't stop the harrassment - the ridicule whenever I would present my take on the concepts being discussed. Needless to say, that was the end of my graduate career....I never felt confident enough to enroll anywhere else and now I am way too old (and not healthy enough) to even think of starting grad school. I cannot seem to find the natural median........I am too stupid for the people that I work with.....and too techinical to those I hope to be friends with. The story of my life since childhood. I will try to keep things simple in the future. Laurie
