You are not stupid by any means. Dont for one second let any

professor make you think that. Its ludicrous. There seems to

always be one crappy prof who has to use his " power " to intimidate

others in order to make himself feel superior. Sounds to me like he

was over compensating for something he lacked. Hmmm wonder what

that could have been. I am sure he is quite inadequate in many

ways.

What were you majoring in? You are never too old to go back to

school. There are a lot of universities that provides classes on

line. I know several people who have gone back to school just

taking a class or two a semester. I was 29 and my son was only 5

weeks old when I decided to go back to college and get my nursing

degree. Then I am in my 3 year at MUSC and get pregant with my

youngest. I was 35 when I graduated the day after my son graduated

from kindergarten. Granted it was really hard for a pregant mother

of 2 in nursing school, but worth every second. I am by no means any

kind of genious and it was a real struggle but i feel it was my

calling. Now I just need to find out what to do with it.

You provide such wonderful information and you certainly have a way

with words. I dont think for one second you should change anything

about how you share your knowledge. You have a gift for

communication and you use it well. I just have a different approach

when it comes to patient teaching.

I never meant to offend you at all and I hope I didn't. Ihave a

great deal of respect for you and have appreciated all the advice

you have so generously shared. I am curious about one thing tho,

why do you call yourself " goutbuster " ?

I hope your feeling well and have a great weekend. My kids are out

of school for friday and monday so we have a long weekend. The

weather has been lovely too. Spent most of the day tinkering in the

yard with the kids. Well take care Laurie, and please dont change

one thing about yourself. I enjoy your posts just the way they are

and like you just the way you are too.
