Guest guest
Mark seems to jump from the frying pan into the fire with the pancreatitis. They have told us that he needs to see a pain management dr. but that the dr. can't see him until the end of April. Hello - what's the point of waiting 2 more months. With the constant chronic pain - he is already saying he wishes God would let him die. I can't even imagine the pain he is going through or what y'all are going through with this disease. They put him on oxycontin - but he ended up throwing up several times and the phenorgan hasn't helped stop the naseua. So when he threw up the other evening and then passed out - I called his pancreas doctor. He wants him off the oxycontin for several days to see if that helps. (trying to see if the oxycontin is the culprit). Well, I was at a baby shower yesterday and Mark passed out with only our 9 year old son at home. This is such a frustrating illness. Pain medicine is supposed to help not hinder. And on top of all this - his hips, knees and ankles are killing him to the point that he looks like a old man when he gets up and moves around. Any advice on diet and or anything that you may have found to work in your worst times would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for letting me vent.
