Guest guest
We're planning on heading out toward ton tomorrow around lunchtime which will put us getting there around 8pm. I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep because I'm really nervous about the procedure which Dr.Cotton is going to attempt. He's hoping that he can fix the drainage problem this way, and I'm praying that he can too. I'm going to miss my little man too. I'm dreading the pain, but I guess it's worth going through it now so I might not have it in the future. We're taking my laptop and some DVD's so we'll (me and hubby) we'll have something to help pass the time...that's if I'm not knocked out. I'm taking a few books...and hubby is taking a few magazines. I'm praying that we won't be down there too long. I think the average stay, according to other posts, is about 2-3 days, so that's not so bad...that's usually how long I end up staying whenever I go to MUSC anyway. I really wish that I had internet access in the room, but I'd probably be unable to post anyway. I'll have plenty to do when I get home just trying to catch up on reading all the posts that I missed. The sedation is probably my biggest concern...I'm going to do what all of you recommended and tell the doctor about my past problems with waking up during a procedure and being VERY sick at my stomach. Well...until tomorrow...:0)--Kim S./ NC
